1895 Watercolors Flax Batik 108″ Wide Quilt Backing Fabric SKU W1895 442-FLAX is a premium wide-width batik fabric from the 1895 Watercolors Collection by Hoffman Fabrics. Designed specifically for quilt backings, this 108-inch wide fabric features warm neutral beige tones, creating a natural softness look with the signature mottled texture that defines the 1895 Watercolors line.
The wide width allows most quilts to be backed seamlessly, eliminating the need for piecing and giving your finished quilt a clean, professional appearance. The watercolor-style batik texture adds subtle movement and depth, making the backing feel intentional and thoughtfully chosen rather than an afterthought.
In quilt projects, this fabric works beautifully as a background fabric, pairing effortlessly with both modern and traditional quilt tops. It coordinates perfectly with 1895 Watercolors yardage and precuts, and it also complements a wide range of prints and color palettes.
Hand-dyed on premium 100% cotton, this 108″ wide backing fabric is durable, smooth to work with, and ideal for quilts meant to be used, washed, and loved.
