Some quilts call for tradition. For those quilts, reach for Cairo-Quilt thread Cream. Cairo-Quilt is a 100% cotton thread made with the highest quality Egyptian long-staple cotton. This means the thread is made with longer cotton fibers, allowing for a stronger and more durable thread.
The cotton fibers on Cairo-Quilt thread are put through a mercerization process. This process not only softens the thread, but it also helps to minimize lint. Spend less time cleaning your machine and more time doing what you love!
Cairo-Quilt is Quilted Joy’s go-to thread for all our piecing projects! Cairo-Quilt thread is a 50 weight thread. This thinner thread is ideal for all your piecing projects. You’ll love how the skinnier thread allows your seams to lay flatter – a key to precision piecing!
It’s also a fabulous thread for quilting on both your domestic machine and your longarm quilting machine. This thin thread will sink into your quilts and the matte cotton finish will blend in with your fabrics. The long-staple Egyptian cotton ensures a strong and durable thread that can withstand my APQS longarm machine’s long thread path.
Cairo-Quilt is available in small 670 yard cones and large 3000 yard cones. The small cones are ideal for domestic machine sewers without a stand alone thread stand. The large cones will be loved by longarm quilters and prolific sewers looking to stock up.
